RevKit Cloud Library Beta

Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 24 July 2026

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of RevKit — the RevKit add-in for Autodesk® Revit® and the RevKit Cloud Library web application (together, the “Service”). RevKit is developed and provided by Struct-BIM (“we”, “us”, “our”), and is distributed and sold through our partner Bimbee. By installing the add-in, creating an account, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to bind that company.

1. Accounts and teams

The Cloud Library is organized around a company account. Each company has its own private library; families uploaded by one company are not visible to any other company. Within a company, users are assigned one of three roles:

  • Admin — manage users and roles, and upload, organize, or delete any family.
  • Member — upload families, organize or delete the families they uploaded, and browse or download everything.
  • Viewer — browse and download only.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.

2. License to use RevKit

Subject to these Terms and your active subscription, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use RevKit for your internal business purposes. You may not sublicense, resell, rent, or redistribute the Service; reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law; or remove or alter any proprietary notices. Subscriptions, pricing, trials, and renewals are handled through Bimbee and are subject to any terms presented at purchase.

3. License keys and activation

The RevKit add-in is activated with a license key. Each license is locked to a single machine at a time: when you activate, the add-in reads a hardware identifier for your computer and registers it against your key so the license can be tied to one device. If a license has not been seen on its registered machine for a period of time, it may be released so it can be activated on another machine. Sharing a single license key across multiple concurrent machines, or attempting to circumvent the activation mechanism, is not permitted. See our Privacy Policy for details of the information handled during activation.

4. Your content

“Your Content” means the Revit family files (.rfa), thumbnails, 3D preview files, metadata (such as categories, collections, tags, descriptions, and custom fields), and other materials you upload to the Cloud Library. As between you and us:

  • Your Content remains yours. We do not claim ownership of it.
  • You grant us a limited license to store, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you and your company — for example, to host files, generate previews, and serve them back to authorized users in your company.
  • You represent that you have the rights necessary to upload Your Content and that it does not infringe the intellectual-property or other rights of any third party, including the terms of any content libraries from which a family originated.

You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of any content you consider critical. When a user is deactivated, their account record may be retained so that the authorship of families they uploaded remains intact.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • upload malware, or content that is unlawful or infringes others’ rights;
  • gain unauthorized access to other companies’ libraries, accounts, or systems;
  • interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; or
  • use the Service in violation of applicable laws or Autodesk’s own terms for Revit.

6. Availability and beta

The Cloud Library is currently offered as a Beta. It is provided on an evolving basis, features may change, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance, updates, or migrations that temporarily affect availability.

7. Intellectual property

RevKit, including the add-in, the Cloud Library, and all associated software, designs, and trademarks, is owned by Struct-BIM and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited license granted above, these Terms give you no rights in the Service. “Autodesk” and “Revit” are trademarks of Autodesk, Inc.; RevKit is an independent product and is not endorsed by or affiliated with Autodesk.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers to function, including cloud hosting and storage (Amazon Web Services), license management (Keygen), and billing (Bimbee). Your use of the Service may be subject to those providers’ terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that Your Content will always be preserved without loss. You are responsible for verifying that any family placed in your Revit model is suitable for your project.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Struct-BIM and its partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you breach these Terms, if your subscription lapses, or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
